Our technical training track is designed to move members from credit fundamentals to underwriting, structure, documentation, and special situations with a clear progression of deliverables.

Weeks 3 - 6

Underwriting Foundations

Model and 2-page risk memo

Business model risk, quality of earnings, cash flow vs. EBITDA, leverage, coverage, debt sizing, and sources and uses.

Weeks 7 - 8

Structure and Protections

Covenant tracker and proposal page

Security, collateral, covenants, baskets, EBITDA addbacks, and reporting mechanics.

Week 9

Sponsor Finance

Sponsor memo appendix

Sponsor behavior, equity cushion, value creation plans, and add-on acquisitions.

Weeks 10 - 11

Stressed and Distressed Situations

Recovery deck page

Liquidity pressure, valuation stress, recovery drivers, and intercreditor dynamics.

Week 12

Restructuring & Special Situations

Lender committee decision memo

Rescue financings, amend-and-extend, priming, liability management, and process basics.
